Read first. Prices require an on-site quote from a qualified, licensed professional. A responsible comparison compares scope, method, and warranty — not just the bottom line.

3. Comparing the bottom line responsibly
- Compare written scope, not phone numbers. A verbal price is not a usable estimate.
- Watch for unusually low quotes. They may omit inspection, warranty, or cleanup.
- Confirm the cause is addressed. If the settlement is driven by drainage or soil, ask how the estimate handles that — leveling alone may not be a durable fix.
- Read the warranty terms — length, what it covers, and any conditions.
